Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress who appears predominantly in Tamil and Telugu films, in addition to some Malayalam films. She was awarded the National Film Award for Best Actress for portraying actress Savitri in the Telugu film Mahanati (2018). The other awards she received comprise three SIIMA Awards, a Filmfare Award South, and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy Kumar Suresh happens to be the actor Menaka G. Suresh's daughter. Her acting journey began in the early 2000s. She played her debut leading role in Geethaanjali (2013 Malayalam). She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy has signed her first Tamil projects in the year 2015. She then started accepting projects from Malayalam. While the film did not do well at the box office Her debut film is A. L. Vijay's romantic-comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2005), which she starred in opposite Vikramprabhu. The actress had to pull out of a number of films she was working on in 2015, like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and Deekay's Kavalai Vedam in order to allow for larger projects. Within a brief period, she worked alongside Sivakarthikeyan on Rajini Murugan, Remo and also played the lead for Prabhu Sool's Thodari along with Dhanush. She made her Telugu debut had been scheduled in the form of Ainaa Ishtam nuvvu. While the date for release of Janakitho Nuvvu hasn't been announced, it is reported that the film could be released later in the month of September, 2020. Nenu Sailaja (2016), which featured Ram Pothineni as the actor was the debut film of Keerthy's. Keerthy was first seen in Bairavaa alongside Vijay director Bharathan.
