Suzanne Pleshette worked as an actor and voice artist throughout the United States. She held more than a hundred credits over her nearly five-decade career. Pleshette is a New York native who began her career as an actress on stage. She then gradually made the transition to screen. The most notable films include "Rome Adventure", "The Birds', 'Fate Is the Hunt' If It's Tuesday, This Must Be Belgium as well as "Support Your Local Gunfighter". She had also played many roles on TV and film. Her nominations included Emmy Awards four times and Golden Globe Awards twice. Two times she was nominated, Pleshette won the Laurel Award in 1963 for the film 'The Birds'. The death of Pleshette in 2008 resulted in an award posthumously conferred to her Star along the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
